Wreath Season
The last few weeks have seen our studio brimming with winter greens and flowing with gorgeous smells as we’ve been in full wreath making mode.
We had the opportunity to work with the fantastic people at Houzz to bring you an online wreath tutorial – packed with tips and tricks on how you can easily add a touch of something special this holiday! It’s such a fun way to get into the holiday spirit, so why not grab some friends and host a wreath making night of your own.
It wouldn’t be holiday season without the friendly fronds of bay, pine, boxwood and holly to great you at your front door, however the amazing folk over at SF Flower Market have also been fueling our inspiration with their colorful stalls stocked with the less traditional varieties of proteas, leucadendrons, rose cones, and kangaroo paw to name a few – but all of which have been making an appearance in our wreaths this year!
We’ve hosted many wreath making workshops this month – providing an array of festive greens for students to use in addition to a pick and mix selection box of little accents such as rose cones, tallow berries, persimmons, cotton pods and privet berries.
It’s always amazing to see how each student creates something entirely different given the same access to materials. Each wreath truly took on a personality of it’s own and it was great to see everyone’s excitement over their new holiday decor!
