The Reason: A glorious celebration of union (otherwise known as a wedding)!
Special Because: Flowers were arranged to “fade to pink.” We used white to deep pink in season ranunculus to paint a dreamy spectrum.
We loved: Metal heating ducts used as flower vases. Our very own magical Sophie constructed this recyclable, and most certainly reusable design. Flowers situated within duct pieces on tables encouraged poignant consideration of industrial meets organic that directly mirrored the past and present uses of the Ferry Building. The effect was striking, poetic, and clearly one to remember!
Made Possible By: Stunning celebrations such as these are always the work of so many talented people. For this one we would like to acknowledge stellar Event Planner Stacy McCain, scrumptious Caterer Paula LeDuc, and talented photographer Jeannie Choe for these gorgeous images. Thanks everyone! Congratulations Jill!
If you’ve not been to the California Academy of Sciences, it is worth a visit. It is filled with wonder. See a Leafy Seadragon, a white Alligator, and a living roof. And if you attended Rachel’s wedding last weekend, Lila B’s – floral fish tanks.
