We’re heading north to Bend, OR for 3 green filled days of festive inspiration alongside home decor brand Steel Life from 25th – 27th November.

We’ll be jumping straight into holiday activities with a pop-up DIY bar on Friday at Celebrate the Season – Backyard Farm Boutique complete with all the trimmings and a splash of tipple for you to create and take home your own wreath – a great night out for you and a bunch of friends!

Finding a “Perfect” Space

Over the last 10 years, my plant and flower design studio, office, and garden have moved more than a few times. I’ve worked out of my home, on a loading dock, in a cafe’s loft and courtyard, a shipping container, in a parking lot, and on a roof top. Yes, perhaps these all are unusual settings for a workspace but they all were, at the time, just perfect.

But things change. Needs change. And then the need for a new “perfect” space changes.

I began to wonder: What causes this need for change? Why is one place so close to perfect one year and then left behind the next?

In January, I once again moved. This time, it was more of transition than a huge move. It came as bit of a surprise to even me. Before I even could see the opportunity for something new (that was coincidentally right in front of me), I first had to recognize what I needed. I needed to rethink my space.
